1. Not Medical or Professional Fitness Advice
The ZenFitness application, including all its features, content, Fitness Journeys, workout plans, exercise descriptions, rank progressions, and AI-generated scores, is provided for informational and educational purposes only.
Nothing in the Service constitutes, or should be interpreted as, professional medical advice, a clinical diagnosis, a prescription for treatment, or a personalised fitness assessment from a qualified healthcare professional. ZenFitness is a tool to help you log and track your own training — it is not a doctor, physiotherapist, biokineticist, or certified personal trainer.
Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read, accessed, or been shown within this application.
2. Consult a Healthcare Professional Before Starting
Before beginning any exercise programme — including those provided by or created within ZenFitness — you should consult with your physician, physiotherapist, or other qualified healthcare provider, particularly if any of the following apply to you:
- You have a pre-existing medical condition, injury, or chronic illness.
- You are pregnant or recently postpartum.
- You have not exercised regularly in the past six months or more.
- You are over the age of 40 and new to structured exercise.

The workout plans, exercise descriptions, and progression schedules within ZenFitness are designed as general fitness guidance and may not be appropriate for your individual health situation, fitness level, or physical limitations.

All forms of physical exercise carry inherent risks of injury and adverse health events, including but not limited to muscle strains, ligament sprains, joint injuries, fractures, cardiovascular events, and in rare cases, life-threatening harm.
By choosing to participate in any workout, follow any fitness plan, or attempt any exercise described in or generated by the ZenFitness application, you:
- Acknowledge that you are doing so voluntarily and of your own free will.
- Accept full and sole responsibility for any injury, illness, or damage you may sustain as a result.
- Agree to exercise within your own personal limits and to stop immediately if you experience pain, discomfort, or any adverse symptoms.
4. Role of Artificial Intelligence
ZenFitness uses AI (Google Gemini) for two specific features:
- PDF Workout Extraction: The AI parses text from uploaded PDF documents to structure a workout plan. The output is a best-effort interpretation of the source document and is not verified by a fitness professional. You must review the extracted plan carefully before performing any exercise it describes.
- Exercise Scoring: The AI assigns difficulty multipliers to exercises based on their names, used to calculate your workout score. These multipliers are approximations intended for progress visualisation — they do not constitute a clinical or professional assessment of exercise intensity for your body.
The AI is a computational tool, not a certified fitness or medical professional. It does not assess your physical condition, movement quality, injury history, or exercise form. Its outputs should be treated as estimates, not expert prescriptions.
5. No Guarantees of Results
ZenFitness makes no guarantees, warranties, or representations — express or implied — regarding the achievement of any specific health, fitness, aesthetic, or performance outcome. Your results will vary and depend on numerous individual factors, including but not limited to your genetics, age, current fitness level, diet, sleep, recovery, consistency of training, and correctness of exercise execution.
Rank advancement in ZenFitness reflects your completion of the trials and criteria defined within the application. It does not constitute a professional fitness certification or endorsement of your physical readiness for any particular activity.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ZenFitness (Adam Lamprecht) expressly disclaims all liability for any physical injury, illness, property damage, or adverse health consequence arising directly or indirectly from your use of the Service or your participation in any exercise programme, workout, or activity described in or generated by the application.
This limitation applies regardless of whether the claim is based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, even if ZenFitness has been advised of the possibility of such damage.
7. Your Responsibility
Using ZenFitness is your choice, and safe participation in physical activity is your responsibility. Always:
- Warm up properly before beginning any workout.
- Use proper technique and form for every exercise.
- Progress gradually and avoid attempting movements that are beyond your current ability.
- Listen to your body and stop if you feel pain, dizziness, or abnormal discomfort.
